The plastic industry is one of the profitable and job-creating industries that accounts for a large share of consumer products; These products are produced using specialized methods and machinery, one of the most up-to-date methods of which is "rotomoulding". Rotational molding or rotomolding is one of the best and most advanced methods of producing hollow products that Tabarestan Plastic Complex uses to produce a variety of polyethylene tanks. If you are active or interested in the plastic industry, studying specialized books in this field can give you a broader view of the industry. You can learn more about the specialized books authored by Dr. Barmak Ghanbarpour, the CEO of Tabarestan Plastic Complex and the Head of the Education Commission of the National Polymer Industry Association of Iran in the text below. We strongly recommend studying the following books to the activists of the plastic industry and those interested in the polymer industry.

Introduction of the book in the field of rotomolding industry

Book Name: Practical Guide to Rotational Molding

Written by: Barmak Ghanbarpour

Another work was published by Dr. Barmak Ghanbarpour after the book " Plastics Rotational Molding" which was published in winter 2011 and its purpose was to create a general acquaintance with basic concepts of this process for readers.

This valuable book was published in spring 2021 and can be considered as a reference book for producers and activists in this industry. Rotational molding is a process that is used at high temperature, low pressure, and in the form of an open mold, using biaxial rotation and heat to shape integrated and hollow plastic parts.

The molds used in this process are usually metal or composite which are cooled by air flow or water spray or combinations of the two. Part production based on coating the inner surface of a rotating mold with materials goes back centuries ago but this process was used to produce plastic parts for the first time in the 1940s. The first polymer used in this industry was plastisol, and the initial products included play balls and dolls.

Book Name: Plastics Rotational Molding

The rapid growth and expansion of the rotational molding industry in Iran in recent years has doubled the importance of paying a deep attention to its concepts among researchers and industrialists. Clearly, any technical and scientific development will cause an increase in competitiveness of organizations active in this field on a global scale. Hence, the book of "Plastics Rotational Molding" was written as the first Persian book in this field with motivation of taking a small step in the economic development of the country. An effort has been made so that presenting the practical tips required by craftsmen is also considered in addition to paying attention to new scientific concepts and utilizing the most reliable references available by relying on the knowledge and skill of the authors in materials collection. The presented materials are classified based on the five basic elements of this technology, i.e. raw materials, product design, molds, process fundamentals, and machinery.
